OVATION Wireless Management is privileged to have a powerhouse team of seasoned industry veterans that bring unmatched experience to work on behalf of each customer. We bring a hands-on approach to wireless management for businesses of all sizes. Incorporated in 2002, OVATION began providing audit and optimization services to clients with hundreds of devices. As our business grew, so did our wireless management services. Headquartered in Cornelius, near Charlotte, NC, our staff includes a team of wireless experts that provide complete mobile lifecycle management services to clients with thousands of devices domestically and internationally.
Our wireless project experience includes working with the nation's top banks, construction companies, healthcare organizations, transportation companies, law firms, NFL teams, government entities, manufacturing firms and almost all categories of wireless users in the commercial sector.
Our ownership team and advisory board are made up of wireless carrier veterans, all previously in senior management positions. We were directors, GM's, VP's and Sr. VP's of some of the nation's largest carriers. Our team consists of wireless carrier professionals representing over 750 years of combined industry and wireless mobility technology expertise. Randall Light Chief Executive Officer
Randall began in the wireless industry in 1985 with Motorola C&E, then in 1987 he helped ALLTEL Mobile build their Carolina's market as General Manager and Area Manager through MSA and RSA expansion to complete the wireless licensed footprint of ALLTEL Corporation. Additionally he led the Southern Region as market area Vice President and General Manager until 2002 for TeleCorp PCS and AT&T Wireless. During his carrier tenure Randall was responsible for driving all facets of the carrier operations including Network, Customer Care, all Sales disciplines, HR, Finance , Engineering, and Marketing. As a founding member of the carrier alliance Carolina Cellular Network, he helped build the wireless coverage and service alliances in the Carolinas, Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Over the last 27 years Randall has engaged in the technology evolution strategy from the first generation of wireless service delivery through the emerging stages of 4G. Randall's extensive experience in all facets of the wireless business plays a major role in assisting the customers of OVATION Wireless Management gain control of their wireless costs and assets.

Rex Greer President
Rex began his wireless career in 1992 with ALLTEL. He served as manager for every sales distribution channel within ALLTEL including Direct and Indirect Sales, CLEC, ILEC, and Major Account sales. He worked with many companies of various size and wireless scope, including several within the Fortune 500. His background includes extensive B2B solutions-based selling of wireless, long distance, internet, and land-line (both CLEC and ILEC services), and customer premise equipment. He has practical front-line experience in dealing with most of the challenges facing companies today regarding their total communications needs. In addition to his enterprise level sales experience, Rex also managed and operated the Key Account Client Care Group which served as the main sales and support center for enterprise customers. Having helped create operating budgets, wireless policies and procedures, client retention programs, and rate plan pricing strategies with a major wireless service provider, he clearly understands why many companies are seeking help with the ever changing wireless industry from an unbiased, carrier agnostic source for wireless cost reductions, expense visibility, wireless management and support.
Lee Newman Executive Vice President
Lee began his wireless career in 1989 with ALLTEL Mobile where he spent 7 years launching and operating their Carolina and Georgia wireless markets as Market Manager and General Manager. He then returned to Charlotte and spent three years developing ALLTEL's CLEC operations as Vice President of Business Sales. His responsibilities included management for ALLTEL's top 50 business accounts and the marketing of ALLTEL's full suite of converged communications products. In 1999 he was recruited to launch the Louisville and western Kentucky markets for SunCom, an AT&T Wireless affiliate, where he managed all distribution channels as Area Vice President. Lee left SunCom in 2001 where he operated his own wireless consulting business to help companies manage and control their overall wireless expenses. Late in 2002 he returned to North Carolina to help launch Ovation as a member of the executive management team.
